Caitlin Norton
Caitlin was born in suburban Detroit, prior to the Great Recession of '08, to a hot-blooded Italian mother and a wild Irishman. The combination, while volatile for her parents, provided a precise combination for an actor; lots of humor, too much passion, easy on-the-eyes and with a healthy dose of humility.
After performing in a non-singing, non-dancing version of "The Nutcracker", as Marie, in the fifth grade Christmas Pageant, she knew she was destined for a life of 'champagne wishes and caviar dreams.' She headed east to NYC in 2005 and has been living the dream ever since.
Caitlin Norton has appeared as a co-star on all four New York based soap operas, as well as "The Good Wife" and "Gossip Girl". She recently performed to glowing reviews in the two-person, "Augie's Ring", a piece in the "Men Without Myth" festival at Urban Stages in NYC. Caitlin was recently featured in several short films at the New York Television Festival. Caitlin is currently developing a webisode series with a humorous look on borough life in NYC.
Caitlin completed the two-year conservatory Meisner program at William Esper Studio under Suzanne Esper. She trained at the Magnet Theatre and Marla Kirban Voiceover. She has studied with John Dapolito in his Master Class with the AWG Program.
In addition to acting, Caitlin is a marathon runner, avid reader and ambitious chef. She lives in Long Island City, NY with her husband, Jordan, and ninja-cat, Shinobi. Caitlin loves Queens and knows, if you just gave it a chance, you would too.
