Caleigh Le Grand
Caleigh Le Grand is an actor, writer, director, and producer, born and raised in Canada. She grew up playing in the world of theatre and earned her Honours and Specialization in MIT along with her Level II Writer's Certificate from Western University. She expanded her writing career, adding PR work to her journalism-based portfolio, while travelling the world on weekends, as a flight attendant with Air Canada. She now grounds herself in the world of entertainment, producing and performing live comedy shows as well as her own screenwriting.
Le Grand first made a name for herself as a Canadian scream queen, and went on to flex her comedic chops as a part of Second City's Musical Conservatory and Longform Improvisation programs in Toronto. She's had the fortune of improvising on stage with cherished comedians, like Colin Mochrie, and acting on screen alongside notable actors like James Franco and James Caan, and continues to perform in sketch shows (Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival) and improv festivals (New York City Musical Improv Festival, Big City Improv Festival, Detroit Improv Festival).
Having hosted countless live shows and red carpet events, Le Grand now satisfies her journalistic curiosities producing and hosting her award-winning podcast, We're Totally (Not) OK, which focuses on the intersection between mass media culture and mental health.
