Calvin T. Shepherd
Calvin T. Shepherd was born March 15, 1996 in Crystal City, Missouri and was raised in the small town of Meeker, Colorado. His father introduced him early to the films of Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese while his mother gave him books and taught about breaking down song lyrics. He started making films in high school for his English classes until in college where he made his first feature film, Forgery. After graduating college, Shepherd made his second self funded feature film, Country Mustard, and during the the pandemic, self funded his first film to get domestic and international distribution with Safe House 1618.
