Isaura Barbé-Brown
Isaura grew up in the East End of London where she started her acting career in local theatre.
She studied film studies and performing arts in college as well as history and English literature.
At 19 she moved to New York to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (2005-2007). She lived and worked there for another year, and moved back to London in 2008.
In 2009 she did a summer course in Oxford with the British American Drama Academy where she studied Shakespeare and modern theatre.
After returning she worked in theatre and then made the jump into film, playing the lead in short film Mosa (2010), followed by a leading role in the feature film David is Dying (2011).
