Ivan Bradara
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Ivan Bradara began acting at fourteen after a successful stint as a junior tennis player. He has trained at some of the most prestigious acting schools in Australia and Los Angeles, including the Stella Adler Studio Of Acting. From acting stints in popular Australian television shows such as 'Neighbours' to making his first major television debut in the outstanding BAFTA, Emmy nominated, AACTA and Logie award-winning mini-series - 'The Slap'. He has also starred in several successful award-winning Australian short films that have gone onto screen at over two hundred international film festivals. These short films include: 'Shiny Thing' where he starred opposite Tom Ballard, 'Look My Way', 'Shoplifting' and most recently 'The Onlookers'.
His passion for finding compelling stories has also led him into stepping behind the camera. Ivan has produced several award-winning films under his production company 'Nebula', which he launched with writer/director Martin Sharpe. Their most recent venture as a producer/director combo has culminated in 'Serving Joy', a hugely ambitious, dialogue rich ensemble piece. The film has screened at over twenty-five international film festivals and received two awards for 'Best Film' at Oscar-qualifying Edmonton International Film Festival and Dalmatia Film Festival. The film has gained much attention both locally and internationally and received many other worldwide nominations.
