Salmin Sheriff

Salmin Sheriff has been involved in theatre for over 25 years. He was a founder member, with Mahesh Dattani, of the theatre group Playpen. Salmin started his theatre career as an actor and has acted in several plays over the years. Recently, he acted in The Retreating World, Stalowa Wola and The Unseen. Salmin wrote his first play Self Portrait in 1992 and it was performed in Bangalore at that time. He has written and directed several plays over the years. He is at present writing a play about tribal displacement.
