Zenaida Telfair
Zenaida Telfair was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Her father, Anthony Jerome Telfair, is African-American, and works as a Drummer. Her father was known for touring with "KC and the Sunshine band". Zenaida was named after her mother Zenaida Maartman who is Caucasian. Zen first came into the spotlight at 8 years old when she starred on her first TV commercial; Hasbros "Puppy Surprise", she filmed over 20 more commercials in her childhood and up to her teenage years, while training in acting classes and private coaching. Zenaida took some time off to travel the world living in Australia, New York, and many different countries in Asia, and came back to Canada to earn a Bachelors degree in Psychiatric Nursing. Zen found her way back in front of the camera when was featured in "The Wish Writer" for Macy's TV commercial and many others before she landed a role on 2 separate episodes of "The Untold Stories of the ER" in 2015. The following year she landed a role in "The Flash" TV series as a Nurse, and is to make her first on screen debut in "The Mistletoe Promise", a film based on a best selling book in 2014 written by Richard Paul Evans. The film will be released December 2016.
