Crystal was born in Missouri and raised in Arizona. While attending courses at college, a professor required her to audition for the upcoming play, and hoped it would calm down Crystal's fear of being in front of people. Absolutely horrified at the thought of standing alone in that huge open space with all those strangers and lights staring down at her, she made it through her first read. After the audition, the relief was immense and she thought she would never ever have to do that again! But Crystal got cast in the role, and life started to make a little more sense. In September of 2007, with two suitcases in hand, Crystal boarded a Greyhound with a ticket for Los Angeles. To this day, she works as a sign language interpreter and on any project that will tell a good story or bring a laugh. On days off, you will most likely find her reading a book down on the beach or baking some amazing cookies for the local fire stations.
