She worked with Tyler Perry on his upcoming Amazon Prime movie, "Tyler Perry's Duplicity," as a supporting role; she was also reporter May Wring in the movie "Final Hour" with Clifton Powell and Eric Roberts. She's worked in 7 different markets: New York City, Hawaii, Boston, Washington State, Minneapolis, Rhode Island, and Atlanta. Crystal Bui grew up in California where she was a competitive swimmer in the Junior Olympics. She is the author of the memoir, "More To Tell."

Crystal joined Rough Draft Studios in 2000 as a Layout Artist on Futurama and has become a Staff Director for the Studio. Her most recent directorial work can be seen on Disenchantment, Clash-A-Rama, Tarantula as well as Futurama, Napoleon Dynamite, and Sit Down, Shut Up. Other work at Rough Draft includes; The Simpsons Movie, all four Futurama DVD Movies, the opening titles for Pink Panther 2, Drawn Together, Looney Tunes, and pilots for CBS and Cartoon Network. Crystal has also worked on several features including Horton Hears a Who, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, and Curious George. Crystal is also part of our in-house development team.
Crystal graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2014. Her credits whilst at RCS include The Beaux Strategem, Macbeth, The Cherry Orchard and They Shoot Horses, Don't They? Crystal grew up in a West Indian immigrant family in Essex County, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Newark Arts High School.
