Nushrat Bharucha was born in a Dawoodi Bohra Muslim family to Tanvir Bharucha and Tasneem Bharucha in Mumbai, India. She began her acting career in the year 2002 at the age of 16. As a student of Jai Hind college, she walked into a talent management firm hoping to volunteer as a scout but instead, they hired her to act in Kittie Party (2002), a television show being broadcast on Zee TV. But, the long work hours and poor treatment of newcomers led her to quit the show in a year. During her college days, Nushrat was involved in organizing events and the backstage production of plays. For one such event in the year 2009, she managed to get a leading facewash brand as a sponsor for a talent show. After five days of auditions, the brand announced that they had selected Nushrat to be their 'Fresh Face', as a consequence of which she featured in a couple of advertisements and a feature film. In the year 2010, Nushrat received a call from casting director Atul Mongia's office for an audition, which turned out to be the first major breakthrough of her career as it led to her selection for Dibakar Banerjee's LSD: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha (2010).

Nusrat Imrose Tisha (known anonymously as Tisha) is a National Award-winning Bangladeshi actress and model. She is one of the most popular faces on television. Her films Doob: No Bed of Roses, Television, Third Person Singular Number gained critical acclaim worldwide Tisha started her acting career through the drama Shat Prohorer Kabbo directed by Ahsan Habib and written by Anonto Heera.[5] Tisha also formed a band named Angel Four. Tisha first modeled for Meril Lipjel. She has participated in advertisements for Coca-Cola, City cell, Parchute, Bombay Sweets and Keya Cosmetics, and won the Meril Prothom Alo Awards for modeling in 2003 and 2004. After a six-year break, Tisha returned to TV advertising in 2014 by appearing in an ad for Square. She also appeared in ads for Robi, Rupchanda, Dabur Amla etc. Tisha was appointed the first "Public Diplomacy Ambassador (Honorary position) for South Korea" for two years as part of the celebration of 40th anniversary of the two countries bilateral relations in 2013. In 2016, she did her first commercial movie Rana Pagla: The Mental opposite superstar Shakib Khan directed by Shamim Ahmed Roni. Later in the year, she appeared in Ostitto directed by Anonno Mamun starring opposite Arifin Shuvo. For her outstanding performance in this film, she was honored with the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress in 2017. Then she was seen in Doob: No Bed of Roses, a Bangladesh-India co production directed by M S Farooki starring alongside international star Irrfan Khan, Parno Mittra and Rokeya Prachy. She received the prestigious Meril Prothom Alo Awards for Best Actress (Popular) for her performance. Later she was seen in Haldaa directed by Tauquir Ahmed starring along with Mosharraf Karim, Zahid Hasan and others. In 2018, she starred in the first anthology film of Bangladesh Sincerely Yours, Dhaka. Her first release of 2019 was Fagun Haway based on the historic Language movement of 1952 directed by Tauquir Ahmed starring Siam Ahmed, Abul Hayat, Yashpal Sharma and others. Tisha will soon be seen in the much anticipated Bangladesh-Germany-Russia co production Saturday Afternoon directed by M S Farooki starring along with a multicultural cast including Zahid Hasan, Mamunur Rashid, Parambrata Chatterjee, Eyad Hourani and many others. It is a one shot thriller inspired by the Holey Artisan Bakery attack in 2014. She will also be seen in Mayaboti alongside Yash Rohan directed by Arun Chowdhury and Holudboni, a Bangladesh-India co production alongside Parambrata Chatterjee and Paoli Dam directed by Mukul Roy Chowdhury and Taher Shipon. Tisha will soon debut as producer in No Land's Man starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and directed by M S Farooki, who will also co produce the film alongside Tisha and Nawaz.

Nutan Samarth was born on June 4 1936 to poet Kumarsen Samarth and his actress wife 'Shobhana' as the eldest of their four children (a younger sister is the actress Tanuja Samarth). Her parents separated when she was a small child. 13-year-old Nutan made her debut in K. Asif's "Hamari Beti". She was a beauty queen as well, being crowned Miss Mussorie in 1952. Success at so young an age was trying, and Nutan temporarily quit films in the 50s to move to Switzerland. She returned, married Commander Rajnish Bahl, and began the most innovative and successful faze of her career. She made her mark as a versatile actress able to portray comedy, drama, and romance with equal skill. Nutan was awarded a record-breaking 5 Filmfare awards for Best Actress and one for Outstanding Performance. Her career declined during the 70s and 80s and she spent much of her time collecting rare artefacts and spending time with her family. Nutan died of cancer in February 1991.
