Pete Candoli was born on June 28, 1923 in Mishawaka, Indiana, USA. He is known for Touch of Evil (1958), Porgy and Bess (1959) and Day the World Ended (1955). He was married to Sheryl Deauville, Edie Adams, Betty Hutton, Vicky Lane and Nona Reedy. He died on January 11, 2008 in Studio City, California, USA.
A Middletown, New Jersey native, Pete has been acting his entire life. He graduated college with a BA in Theater and Communications. At age 16, Pete became a performer in New Jersey's premiere improvisational comedy troupe, Improv Jam Comedy Labs. He eventually became artistic director of the troupe, performing over 3,000 shows in Red Bank, NJ. He went on to hit the streets of New York to study and establish himself, not just an improviser, but a presence on both stage and screen. Pete has been featured in an array of films, commercials and television. He is also an accomplished voice-over actor, lending his voice to many cartoons and video games, including Sega's Silver the Hedgehog, in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. He presently resides in Los Angeles, California and can be seen on film and TV; in 2018 as a regular cast member of Riggle's Picks on NFL on FOX.

Chatmon also wrote, produced, and directed 761st, a documentary on the first Black tank battalion in WWII, narrated by Andre Braugher. Through TheDirector, his Digital Studio, he has directed, shot, and edited content for advertising agencies and Fortune 500 brands. Chatmon's career began in 2001 with the Sundance selection of his NYU thesis film, 3D, starring Kerry Washington. His most recent short film, BlackCard, premiered on HBO, and his narrative podcast, Wednesday Morning, engaged voters around the 2020 election.
