Tyler Griffin is known for The Four: Battle for Stardom (2018).
Tyler Griffin was born on March 4, in Los Angeles, California. His father, Patrick Griffin is of English/Irish descent and his mother, Ileane Rusch is of (mixed) African-American descent, but looking at this blond hair, blue eyed kid, it's hard to believe! A third generation industry kid, music and movies have been a BIG part of his young life! His Grandmother was singer/actress and vocal coach Gloria Rusch, who performed all over the world with such legends as Duke Ellington, George Duke, Chick Corea and Stevie Wonder among others, and she also did some acting on TV and in features. Unfortunately he never met her as she passed away in January 2000 from Breast Cancer. His Father is composer Patrick Griffin. His mother, Ileane Rusch, a former (Arista recording artist), singer and actress turned talent manager and producer, was an energetic music and film aficionado that endlessly supported her children in the arts. She passed away in June 2019 after fighting breast cancer for 11 years, in the end was surrounded by friends and family, and took her last breadth while holding Tyler's hand. Tyler loves animals. When he was younger he and his sister caught tadpoles and raised them into frogs, would find caterpillars and watch them transition into butterflies, and grew up with cats and dogs and tortoises. Tyler spent much time as a child singing, dancing and making friends wherever he went. When younger, Tyler was raised affectionately calling recording artist John Novello John Novello "grandpa" although there is no family relation whatsoever as John was Tyler's Mother second stepfather. There is absolutely no Italian in Tyler's heritage as some websites are incorrectly displaying. Tyler's biological Grandparents are singer Gloria Rusch (1946-2000), helicopter pilot James Rausch (1944-1972), engineer Raymond Griffin (1924-1998), and music-lover June Griffin (1930-1991). He never met any of his grandparents but he was fond of his Great Grandmother Emma Rausch (1923-2016) as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tyler has a big sister Naomi Griffin, who also acted when younger, is an amazing singer, and is now building an art career His first industry gig was a Living Spaces commercial alongside Ava Chelsea Ingram, then on Commercials for Oreo, Epson, Web Series and Pilots and to date his biggest most exciting job was working with Director James Wan shooting Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) which was released in September, on Friday the 13th. Since Middle School, Tyler now enjoys singing and dancing in competitive award-winning show choirs, and works behind the camera, constantly filming and editing movies and music videos to make inspiring movies he shares with his audience on YouTube. He has started songwriting and is releasing digital tunes, (2020) working on his first album. Stay tuned!
