Vytautas Sapranauskas (April 19, 1958 - April 18, 2013), was a Lithuanian comedian. comedy and drama actor of theater and cinema, and a TV host and presenter. He was one of the most talented and well known Lithuanian actors and TV faces. Vitautas graduated form the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1980. Until 1990 he was affiliated with the Russian Drama Theatre. Since 1990 he was with the Vilnius Small Theatre. And then - with Domino theater in Vilnius. He acted in a number of films and theater plays, both during the Soviet times and in independent Lithuania. Apart from that he was also touring with his standing comedy project ''Humor Club'' (''Humoro klubas''), dubbed lots of animated movies to Lithuanian language, such as ''Ratatouille (2007), ''Ice Age III'', ''Garfield'', ''Racing Stripes''(2005) and many others. He was also the face of men's fashion brand Pierre Cardin in Lithuania. He committed suicide just before his 55th birthday, leaving all the country in shock as no one ever expected such a step from a man known as one of the most successful and respected actors and comedians.
