Adam Sugawara
Adam Sugawara studied drama first in Milan, Italy and then a few years later at VADA in Vancouver, BC. After a brief Canadian experience where he collaborates with VFS graduates and studies sword fighting at Academie Duello, he goes back to Italy and starts acting for independent productions in 2015.
Adam appeared in Noise Film Factory's short movies "Urban Gods" where he plays Eclipse, the God of technology, in a world where gods and goddesses hide their presence from humanity in order to survive. "My Love, I'm your Doppelgänger" where he's in hell as Bernd, revisiting his dark life actions in the presence of a very special Charon, and for Ryuichi Sakamoto's international film competition async "MONAD", where he's James Hoshimiya, the man chosen for a journey without return into the depths of space. During the same period he joins the cast of the sword fighting packed fantasy movie "Fenix: a Vengeance Tale" by Rising Film, where he plays Gholad, one of the main villains. In 2018 he moves to London and appears on 4 feature films produced by Champdog Films and released by Momentum Films and ITN distribution.
In 2016 Adam lent his voice to the web commercial "Beauty Through Time" for Colombo Stile and BeeFree.
He also appeared as a guest in the music video "La Commedia non Muore Mai" by the Italian band "Nuovo Corso Café" where he plays the masked man.
He's been active as a singer since the age of 15, publishing his first album "Like a Bloody Herald Remains" in 2006 with the band Bloody Herald for My Graveyard Productions. He lived in Tokyo where he performed as a vocalist and appeared in the TV show "Nodojiman The World" on the Japanese channel Nippon TV. He's actually active as a solo musician.
